Supply interruptions

Rous County Council is committed to providing a secure supply of high-quality water that is healthy for the region’s population and the environment.

While every effort is made to minimise the impact of work on customers, planned water supply interruptions are required from time to time. Individual customers will receive advance notification from Rous with the specific dates and times of any planned interruptions.

Status:  Planned water supply interruption
Cause:  Replacement of stop and air valves on Ballina 375 main.
Area affected:  69 consumers: Cumbalum: Deadmans Creek Road; Summerhill Crescent, Tamarind Drive. Kinvara: Hinterland Way. Knockrow: Carney Place, Hinterland Way. Tintenbar: East Street, Old Bangalow Road, Tamarind Drive.
Water turned off:  Wednesday, 1 May 2024: 7.30am.
Estimated return:  Wednesday, 1 May 2024: 4.30pm.
