Rous County Council is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated General Manager to be the driving force in the sustainable delivery of Council's core functions.  With a strong emphasis on collaboration with constituent councils, the General Manager will be responsible for coordinating natural resource management across the region.

Reporting through the Chairperson and accountable directly to the governing body of Councillors, the General Manager will lead a multi-disciplined senior management team in the overall operation and maintenance of Council's natural assets and infrastructure.  With a staff of around 80 and an annual operating budget exceeding $26 million you will be expected to guide the organisation to deliver against its Integrated Planning and Reporting priorities and manage Council's long-term financial sustainability.
